“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.” - Anaïs Nin

Welcome to the Philosophy of Things!

I started this newsletter as an undergraduate student with the hopes of sharing bit-sized, philosophy-based essays with the world. I send out new articles on a weekly basis, with each essay exploring a unique way of approaching the world. As a student myself, I know that the world of philosophy can be intimidating for outsiders, especially those with no prior experience. The literature is often dense and hard to understand, and with the field being so broad, it can be hard to find a place to start.

My goal with this Substack is to introduce others to the world of philosophy in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-read fashion. Now, I am by no means a philosophical expert nor am I a professor, so take every post with a grain of salt - I’m simply a passionate undergraduate student who wants to introduce others to new ways of thinking.

I really hope you can find some sort of value in a few of my essays, and if you do, feel free to support my work by subscribing below.

Although I do offer free content, the vast majority of my work is only available to paid subscribers. Whether you’re someone who’s just starting their philosophical journey or you’re a seasoned academic, I would urge you to upgrade your subscription if you enjoy my work. This newsletter wouldn’t be possible without your support!

All the best,

M
